South Africa has once again won the toss and skipper Maharaj, who takes over after Bavuma goes unavailable due to a certain injury, decides to bowl again.
Indian captain Rishabh Pant stated that he has been practicing to win tosses but has once again lost the toss and South Africa once again allows team India to bat first which can be crucial tonight as the series decider remains important for both the teams.
“The practice isn’t working for me (on the toss). Looks like a good wicket, we would like to get anything around 180-190. We just need to focus on the process and put in our 100% into the game. Playing the same team,” said Indian skipper Pant.
South Africa goes with some forceful changes including skipper Bavuma as Keshav Maharaj is set to lead the Proteas tonight.
“We will bowl first, the overhead conditions, the dew, we can look to exploit the conditions, but it does look like a good wicket to bat on. Tristan Stubbs, Reeza Hendricks and KG Rabada are back, they replace Temba Bavuma, Marco Jansen and Shamsi. We have gone for the extra batter, hopefully, we’ll look to utilize it while batting upfront,” said skipper Maharaj
