15 August 2017 is coming its way on Tueday next week and every Indian is getting patriotic! As we are going to celebrate our 70th Independence this year. Keeping this in mind the government has released a new video of the national anthem.
This new 3-minute 35-second long video features Bollywood’s living legend Amitabh Bachchan along with some physically challenged children performing the National Anthem in sign language with the Red Fort in the background. You trust! This video will fill you with patriotism after watching it.
The Minister of State for Human Resource Development stated that,
“This is a proud moment for us that the National Anthem has been produced in sign language for those who depend on it. We used to refer to people falling in the category as disabled (viklang), but now the government has modified the definition to divyang.”
Isn’t it a beautiful thing to share and on the time the grand occasion is on its way! of course! Also at the launch of the video the government has referred to the physically challenged as divyang and not viklang to ensure that there was no distinction.
