The India squad for the Ireland series was announced on Wednesday (June 15) by the Board of Control for Cricket in India. Hardik Pandya will captain the team for the two-match T20I series, while Suryakumar Yadav returns from injury. Meanwhile, pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been named the series’
vice-captain.

India will travel to Ireland to play two Twenty20 Internationals after the current five-match T20I series against South Africa concludes. Both matches will be held in Dublin (on June 26 and 28).
This will be yet another series without seniors on board and another fruitful opportunity for the youngsters and the players who got a chance to make a comeback, considering that BCCI is still searching for a confident squad for the ICC World Cup 2022.
