After Vinesh Phogat knee injury while facing Sun Yanan, India’s hope hit the bottom and everyone was thinking that maybe, this time, India will not win any more medals. But when competition between Sakshi Malik and Aisuluu Tynybekova for the Wrestling 58 kg category. Again expectations were raised for a medal by Sakshi Malik.
In the starting Aisuluu Tynybekova was leading the way as in the first round she was able to score 5 – 0. It was in the second round when Sakshi became tough on her opponent. She was able to get the grip around the Kyrgyzstan wrestler and put her down. After that score were 4 – 5.
Then Sakshi with all the strength she had pinned the Kyrgyzstan wrestler three more times and won with a score 0f 8 – 5. After her victory at Rio, wishes came in flowing to gave her wishes.

Sakshi Malik is the first women wrestler to win at Olympics and the fourth women athlete to win a bronze at the huge sports event, Olympics. The 23 year old bagged a bronze medal. Sakshi Malik created history and proved to be good for India.
