Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan :
Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was a great philosopher and first Vice President of India and Second President. At the age of 21, he completed his M.A degree. He was very friendly with his students. And still, is remembered for his teachings and at many schools, on Teachers day he is worshiped.
Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam
Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was India’s missile man and the former President Of India. He is still remembered as a great teacher, teaching was his passion and passed away while giving a lecture at IIM Shillong on July 27, 2015. He was very comfortable around children’s. He was a writer, a great teacher, People’s President and was also known as Guru Kalam.
He was the man who invented arithmetic, algebra, plane trigonometry, fractions, quadratic, equations, sums-of-power series and a table of sines. He was an extraordinary teacher and a great scholar. He had enormous knowledge and it is said that Aryabhatta might have been the main head behind Nalanda University.
Raja RamMohan Roy
Raja Ram Mohan Roy was born on May 22, 1772, He is also known as a great social reformer. He stood up for the abolishment of social evils like Sati and Dowry practice. He was also the founder of Brahmo Samaj.
Nobel prize winner who established Santiniketan school near Bolpur in Birbhum district of West Bengal,now known as Visva-Bharati University. He wrote many great kinds of literature, poems, songs, and novels. He gave new definition to teaching by taking students out of the walls and used to teach them under the tree.
Chanakya does not an introduction ! He was a great economist, philosopher, thinker who taught “Arthshastra” in Ancient India. He was a professor at Taxila University. He is known in the whole world for his unfailing strategies and wisdom.
