The 3-day Indian tour of International DJ and music producer David Guetta is miring up controversies day by day. Now in the latest twist, event organizers announced that the French DJ’s Mumbai concert is initially canceled and has now been rescheduled to January 15.
Earlier the reports circulated revealed that the Mumbai event scheduled for January had been canceled after authorities failed to show the green flag for the show due to lack of arrangements. While India has hosted music biggies like Enrique, Swedish House Mafia, Megadeth, Cold Play and DJ Snake earlier, we’ve also seen some big-ticket gigs being cancelled due to inappropriate settings or arrangements.
Guetta is set to perform tonight in Hyderabad after that in Mumbai following by Delhi which will be scheduled to begin at 4 pm. Reports of cancellation of Guetta’s Mumbai concert came right after when his Bengaluru’s show being scrapped. Controversy geared up when the organizers initially said that the main cause for cancellation was actually the law and order situation faced by the Bengaluru police during the incident of alleged mass molestation on New Year’s Eve.
