Dinesh Karthik who is the Royal Challengers Bangalore wicketkeeper and batter is continuously making headlines. As he has been reprimanded for breaching the TATA IPL’s code of conduct on Wednesday at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. While having the contest between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants. In this regard, on Friday an official statement stated. “Dinesh Karthik from Royal Challengers Bangalore has been reprimanded for breaching the TATA Indian Premier League’s (IPL) Code of Conduct during his team’s Eliminator match against Lucknow Super Giants on May 25th at Eden Gardens, Kolkata,” Also BCCI stated: “Karthik admitted to a Level 1 offense under Article 2.3 of the code of conduct and accepted the sanction.”
The official statement did not reveal the exact reason. But according to the reports it was due to the right-hander’s reaction failing to make contact with an Avesh Khan delivery over RCB innings. The code of Conduct states: “Article 2.3 covers the use of words commonly known and understood to be offensive, obscene, or profane (in any language) and which can be heard by the spectators or the viewing public whether by way of the stump-microphone or otherwise. This conduct may include swearing in frustration at one’s own play or fortune,”
