Adele maintains most aspects of her personal life private, thus conjecture about her relationship with Rich Paul has grown over time. In an attempt to further confuse her fans, the 35-year-old singer recently threw gasoline to the flames by referring to Paul as her spouse. But Adele appeared to announce over the weekend that she is married to the American sports agent. The Hello singer reportedly went to her buddy Alan Carr’s stand-up comedy event in Los Angeles, according to Metro. Carr questioned the audience about recent marriages during the performance. Adele reportedly yelled, “I did,” in response.

A show attendee’s statement was posted on Deuxmoi, a celebrity gossip social media account, despite the fact that no footage of the alleged incident have surfaced. One of the bystanders remarked, “I was at Alan Carr’s comedy show in LA tonight and Adele was in the audience. Alan asked the crowd if anyone got married recently and Adele shouted ‘I did.’” Another added, “Super cute all around and was super sweet but dipped right before it ended.”
Paul sidestepped questions about his marriage in an October CBS Mornings interview with Gayle King, though he didn’t refute them either. In response to King’s question about Adele being called “Mrs. Paul,” the NBA sports agent stated, “You can say whatever you want.”

The couple was first spotted together in July 2021, but it wasn’t until October that Adele opened up to the world about their romance. Since then, the Rolling in the Deep singer has frequently fueled rumors of an engagement or marriage.
When Adele was seen wearing a diamond ring in a shot, there were rumors that she and Paul were engaged at one point. She quickly denied the rumors, though, pointing out that she adores jewelry. During an Elle interview, she stated, “I’m obsessed with him. I’m not engaged. Boy, I just adore high-end jewelry!”
