Bieber reported that he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which has caused half of his face to be completely paralyzed. And for this, he performs facial exercises as part of his rehabilitation to regain mobility.

This was revealed when he postponed the concerts of his “Justice World Tour”.Bieber revealed the condition he has and how it affects him. Posting a video on Instagram he said “I wanted to update you guys on what’s been going on. Obviously, as you can probably see from my face, I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt syndrome,”

So what are the side effects of this disease?

According to the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, Ramsay Hunt syndrome occurs when the varicella-zoster virus infects a facial nerve near the inner ear. And this is how it affected Justin. As he can’t blink or smile. Justin himself revealed about the virus he said “And it’s because of this virus, it attacks the nerve in my ear, in my facial nerves, and it caused my face to have paralysis, as you can see this eye doesn’t blink, I can’t smile on this side of my face, this nostril doesn’t it moves, so there’s total paralysis on this side of my face,” he also indicated that his condition is “pretty serious.”
