BLACKPINK is roaring high in the K-pop industry in South Korea and breaking records every now and then. The team is managed by a South Korean label, YG Entertainment, and while the members are acquiring all the accolades, it seems YG Entertainment has been quite unprofessional with Lisa.
Lisa is ruling hearts beyond her musical excellence, she is also the brand ambassador for Bulgari and CELINE. Reportedly, because of her labels she has also missed few projects.
As per a clip shared by ‘KKRUSHK’, YG Entertainment has been mishandling Lisa’s projects in terms of contract renewal, and mistreatment to the companies.
For instance, Chinese mobile manufacturer VIVO accused YG Entertainment of skipping deadlines and sharing Lisa’s pictures not on time. Thai mobile network provider AIS claimed that YG didn’t permit Lisa to attend their red-carpet events.
#YGLetLisaDoHerWork has been trending on social media ecet since Bulgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin stated that YG isn’t allowing her to attend the spring/summer 2022 show, despite being a global ambassador of the brand.
Babin’s Instagram post was captioned, “Lisa is in Paris but unfortunately due to Covid her agency doesn’t want her to participate in events. Pity as we have an incredible Bulgari event tomorrow in Milan and she won’t attend”.
Fans are also taking a dig at YG Entertainment, someone wrote, “Lisa deserves better than this.”
A fan wrote, “I hope that the members find a better company and they can stay together as Blackpink! YG doesn’t treat them the way they deserve!”
A BLINK commented, “I think she will resign when she is treated better. i think she deserves more.”
Another fan wrote, “u know it’s true when even brands start complaining I mean they are not lilies, right? yg mistreats Lisa and biased towards others.”
