The terrorist organization, Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) threatened to terrorise next year’s football World Cup in Russia. ISIS has released a sick poster of Lionel Messi crying blood from behind bars to create an unsafe atmosphere for the showpiece tournament. Any threat must be taken seriously considering the audience watching the World Cup live in 2018 is likely to reach over 3 billion.

ISIS captioned the image:
“You are fighting a state that does not have failure in it’s dictionary”.
The head of the Russian National Anti-Terrorism Committee, Igor Kulyagin had given an official statement in January to Russian news agency TASS (via Russia Today) regarding security measure they adopted:
“We have taken into account the huge experience, accumulated by the National Anti-Terrorism Committee and the security organizations involved in providing security for the Sochi Olympic Games, the Kazan Universiade and other huge events.”
“Of course, special attention will be paid to providing anti-terrorism safeguards of the infrastructure that will be used for hosting the competition, such as the teams’ stadiums, accommodation units and training facilities.”
The poster was discovered by the think tank SITE Intelligence Group after it was released by Wafa Media Foundation. Another image was circulated in which an armed fighter is seen looking over Moscow’s Luzhniki Stadium (where the World Cup final will be played on 15 July 2018).
“O enemies of Allah in Russia, I swear that the fire of the mujahideen will burn them, just wait”.
