Italian People Under Lockdown Are Filling Empty Streets With Music

Italy is currently under LockDown because of the rise in COVID-19 cases. Everything is closed and people have the advice to stay indoors. Further, several videos are surfacing on the internet which shows people stepping into their balconies and playing music in quarantine. However, this is an example that says nothing can kill the spirit.

For the second night in a row, Italian tenor Maurizio Marchini went out to his balcony in Florence – a town under complete lockdown – and serenaded the entire town.

As he put it: "Same stage, different song."

There are 27,980 cases of coronavirus in Italy till now. Which contains 2,158 deaths and also 2,749 recovered cases so far. But this warmth of love and compassion is what the world needs right now.
