Actor Janhvi Kapoor is braced up for her release of her survival thriller Mili slated to releasing this Friday. Ahead of the release, she spoke about the twists and turns involved during the shoot which took a toll on her physical and mental, especially when she was kept in a storage freezer for hours to keep the setting natural.
Jahnvi talked about the dreadful experience while shooting for the film, “I remember it (film) taking a genuine toll on my mental health because I would come back home after wrapping up shoot and I would go to sleep and dream that I was still in the freezer. I fell ill and I was on severe painkillers for two-three days and even the director was unwell.”
“If you spend 15 hours of your day in a freezer in a closed environment crying for the majority of the day, sometimes with a rat that keeps nibbling your fingers, it is not glamorous for sure,” Janhvi further added.
Alongside Jahnvi, Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa were featured in the pivotal roles. This film marks the the first ever collaboration on professional terms with her father Boney Kapoor. The film is slated to release on November 4, 2022.
