Janhvi Kapoor, the Dhadak actress is one of the popular actresses of current times. She often stays in the limelight. And staying in the limelight comes up with its own pros and cons. Janhvi has often been trolled for wearing the same outfits. But this time she hits back at the trolls.
Recently, when she appeared on the chat show Feet Up With Stars season 2 hosted by fashion designer Anaita Shroff Adajania, she slammed the trollers for commenting that she wears the same clothes.
Giving her trollers a befitting reply, Janhvi said, “How can they…? Itna bhi paisa nahi kamaya ki har roz naye kapde!.”
The actress further added, “You can’t please everyone. Especially with this. I guess you would take their criticism seriously if it was to do with your work and then work on that. But how I look outside the gym isn’t really my job.”
On the professional front, after almost a year of her first film release, Janhvi is currently working on Kargil Girl, which is a biopic of IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena. The film will also feature Angad Bedi, who plays Gunjan’s brother Anshuman Saxena, while Pankaj Tripathi will essay their father. She is also having Karan Johar’s directorial Takht in her kitty.
