Jin, aka Kim Seokjin, who is the eldest member of the Korean boys band BTS is now undergoing the mandatory South Korean military service. From the boot camp a picture have been doing rounds on the internet.
Earlier a picture went viral from the camp, some speculated that it has been captured from the identification card. A Twitter user @7btskook said, “Written on the paper: the eleventh division, The second platoon, Team 5 46 – Kim Seokjin.
The recently released photos and videos show Jin lifting up piles of chair dressed in the army uniform. Reacting to the pictures a fan wrote, “Proud of Jin serving in Military this proves that BTS team can do anything or any work proud of BTS team.” “Jin looks so good in military uniform,” added another tweet.
However, some also criticized the image leak. Someone tweeted, “Jin literally asked for privacy yet you still think it’s ok to consume military propaganda like it’s crack.” “Just a disclaimer that i will sb anyone sharing or retweeting photos of jin in the military, if it doesn’t come directly from him i dont want to see it on my timeline,’ read another tweet.
Jin registered for the services on December 13. He will be joined by BTS members, RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook. Jin is now deployed at the Division Recruit Training Center, Yeoncheon army base in northern Gyeonggi province as a soldier.
After Jin, other members will be part of the 18 months service period too. The group will reunite on 2025. Till then, the members will establish their solo careers and launch new albums individually.
