Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays Jogi Pratap, a master matchmaker and wedding planner in the upcoming comedy Jogira Sara Ra Ra. He can successfully organise any wedding with some dab of jugaad (creative problem-solving). However, after getting to know Dimple (Neha Sharma) and her family, he finds it difficult to match them. Neha decides against getting married and plans her own kidnapping instead.
In the Lucknow-based film Jogira Sara Ra Ra, Jogi plays the boss of Shaandaar Events, a business that handles all aspects of wedding planning. Even at his office, he has a photo that was altered to include Donald Trump. Despite his profession, he has vowed never to wed himself.
Dimple is staying away from the “saat-pheras” like he is. Even Jogi eventually caves in because she continues derailing her own wedding preparations. Once it is decided that Jogi will marry her to save face, both Jogi and Dimple must deal with the repercussions. In the movie, the two obstinate characters finally face off against one another.
Reacting to it, a fan said, “Nawazuddin Siddiqui ‘s comedy party !!!” While another wrote, “Nawazuddin is not simply acting, he is just living in that character.” Someone commented, “Finally kuch fresh accha aya Bollywood ki trf se (Finally something fresh from Bollywood).”
