According to some reports it has been claimed that Johnny Depp is not likely to appear as Jack Sparrow in the fresh series of Pirates of the Caribbean movie. This comes after the Disney has planned to restart the franchise however the actor is not set to feature in any of the upcoming films in the series
Johnny Depp appeared in the most beloved character in the movie, The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), later his roles have been reprise in the sequels launched from 2006-17. Reports also emerged that the sixth movie of the franchise was kept on hold due to domestic violence case filed by the actor’s ex-wife Amber Heard against the actor. Thereafter it was also claimed that Johnny will be resuming work after his big win over the defamation case.
A fresh report by Ace Showbiz mentioned the statement by the production house member which states that they ‘debunk an earlier report which said that the actor is set to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow’.
