American actor Johnny Wactor‘s murder mystery is again making rounds. Los Angeles police recently shared surveillance photos, which became a heated topic of discussion. LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department) has shared surveillance photos of the suspects involved in the tragic murder of Johnny Wactor.
What Happened to Johnny Wactor?
37-year-old American star Johnny Wactor was shot and killed in downtown Los Angeles. This all happened when he walked back to his car after finishing a late-night shift as a bartender. The armed robbers tried to steal the catalytic converter from his car. This horrific incident occurred on May 25, 2024, morning at the 1200 block of Hope Street in downtown Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner, Wactor died from a gunshot wound to the chest, and his death has been declared a homicide.
The surveillance images show two of the suspects in light-colored hooded sweatshirts and one man in a black hoodie. The post shared on X, also mentions that one of the suspects has a tattoo above his left eye and on his right cheek. No other physical descriptions of the suspects have been provided.
Eyewitness
When Wactor was shot she was with a female co-worker. His brother, Grant, shared that Johnny did not provoke the attackers. He said, “He did not confront them and did not try to stop them. He was just trying to diffuse the situation by stepping back.” Grant added that the suspects were not expecting anyone to approach them, which scared them. “And there’s nothing more dangerous than a coward with a gun in his hand,”
LAPD asked for Public Help
As per the reports, The LAPD is now asking the public to help them find the killers. They have urged anyone with information to contact the department’s Central Bureau Homicide division or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
