The FIFA World Cup 2022 started on Sunday evening with a dazzling opening ceremony in Doha. Post the first sports event the first World Cup Anthem Dreamers was performed by BTS band singer Jungkook and Fahad Al Kubaisi. After the ceremony there emerged a Twitter storm on the magnificence displayed by the singer.
Fans reacted to the videos floated on the internet. “But lowkey really proud on jungkook, he absolutely killed it,” someone wrote. Another wrote, “Jungkook is ready for world domination. That was so good. He is winning the world” Qatari singer Fahad Al Kubaisi, also gathered appreciation from the fans.
Earlier famous artists Ricky Martin, Shakira, and Enrique Iglesias have performed the World Cup anthem officially this year Jungkook got the turn. His performance is being lauded by the fans as he has made a special mention to the artists who have already sung the official anthem. He referred to Cup of Life by Ricky Martin, Waka Waka by Shakira, and Waving Flag by K’naan. “So sweet of Jungkook to respect past greats,” tweeted a fan.
The grand sports ceremony is hosted at the Al-Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, near Doha.
