Right from the first day of its release till the 20th day, the film grossed every passing day. And now as per the trade analyst, the film is inching closer to 400 crores globally.

Vikram is shattering new box office records. As it has become the highest-grossing film at the box office. On 3rd June the film hit the theatres, and in just two weeks after its release in Tamil Nadu, it earned a whopping Rs 160 plus crore. This was more than Baahubali 2 which set the record of Rs 146 crore in 2017. According to Trade analyst, Ramesh Bala, “#Vikram is not only an INDUSTRY HIT but its also one of the most profitable movies in Tamil Cinema. In all Southern states and Overseas, it is doing phenomenal business even in 3rd week with houseful shows which is very rare. 17 days Total TN gross 160+ crore.” So far it grossed Rs 364 crore and now as per the reports, it will soon enter the Rs 400 crore club.

In the film, Haasan plays the character of an agent, Arun Kumar, working for RAW India’s external intelligence agency. And shows no mercy to the criminals.
