Actress Kangana Ranaut discussed her future aspirations for marriage while promoting her forthcoming film, Tiku Weds Sheru.
In an exclusive conversation with ANI on Wednesday, Kangana averred “There’s a time for everything and if that time has to come in my life then it will come. I do want to get married and have my own family… but, at the right time it will happen.”
The movie, directed by Sai Kabir Srivastav, will premiere on the OTT service Amazon Prime Video on June 23 and features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur in the key roles.
The film’s producers just revealed the official trailer, which was well-received by the audience.
A junior artist and an aspiring actor start their crazy journey as they work together to attain their goals in Mumbai, the city of dreams, and the trailer showed the ups and downs in their lives.
In a conversation Nawazuddin shared how he was convinced to go ahead for the role, “Tiku Weds Sheru is a comedy-drama that weaves elements of real-life struggles that people go through with a unique love story. Tiku and Sheru, are very different personalities who have a common dream. What excited me about Sheru is that while personifying challenges faced by individuals aspiring to achieve success in the entertainment industry, he is relatable, brings his own set of quirks, and stands out as an endearing character.”
In the meantime, speaking about Kangana’s professional career, she will next be seen in the upcoming historical drama “Emergency,” in which she will play the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Her debut film as a sole director is Emergency. Mahima Chaudhry, Vishak Nair, Shreyas Talpade, and Anupam Kher are also featured in the movie in significant roles.
She will also perform the lead role in Chandramukhi 2. The movie is the follow-up to the hugely successful Tamil horror comedy Chandramukhi, which was directed by P Vasu and starring Rajinikanth and Jyothika in the key roles.
Kangana will play a dancer in the king’s court who is renowned for her beauty and dance prowess in Chandramukhi 2.
