Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is in the limelight since the day she spoke up against Hrithik Roshan and Karan Johar. She boldly raised the issue of nepotism that prevails in the Bollywood industry. Due to her statements and outspoken behaviour she made many enemies in the industry. Recently her film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi was released and she blamed the entire Bollywood for not supporting her film.
However, the film has been mired in several controversies before and after its release. In her recent media interaction, the actress slammed Bollywood celebs and accused them of ganging up against her as she spoke about nepotism openly.
Now, the latest news is, she is going to make a biopic of her own by her own. She will direct her biopic in which she will show her life story. Confirming the news to Mumbai Mirror, Kangana said, “Yes, it is true, my own story is the subject of my next directorial. But it is not a propaganda film with characters who are starkly black and white, rather it is a sincere, heartfelt account of my journey so far with plenty of lighter moments. I’m emboldened by the love of the people around me, who have never judged me but accepted me for who I am.”
Her biopic will be written by Baahubali fame KV Vijayendra who also wrote Manikarnika. The actress told that it was Vijayendra who urged her to let him write a story on her life. She said, in the beginning, she felt nervous but then she agreed and gave her consent to Vijayendra.
The film on Kangana will surely be an interesting story to watch. She really made it big in the Bollywood coming as a small town girl from some village of Himachal Pradesh. We applaud her journey and her courage to speak her heart out against the Bollywood biggies.
The upcoming films of the actress are ‘Mental Hai Kya’ and ‘Panga’.
