On September 9, before Kangana Ranaut reached Mumbai from Himachal, BMC took action to remove illegal possession at her Mumbai office. BMC ransacked the office for two hours. Kangana’s office is in Pali Hill area in Bandra, Mumbai which is built in 48 crore rupees.
Her production house Manikarnika Films has an office here. This action is a result of Kangana’s statement in which she compared Mumbai to PoK (Pak Occupied Kashmir) a few days ago.
This is not the first time that celebs have come under BMC’s target. Even before this, BMC has taken strict action against the celebs.
Kapil Sharma
In 2016, Kapil Sharma complained to Narendra Modi about corruption. He had tweeted and said “I have been paying Rs 15 crore tax since last five years. But I have to bribe BMC 5 lakhs for making my office.” Are these good days? After Kapil’s comments, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis said that give full information.
Meanwhile, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) claimed that the actor was sent a notice for illegal construction, but did not respond. The place where he was building office cannot be used commercially.
The BMC sent him a notice on July 16 in this case and asked him to stop the work. Even after that Kapil continued construction. On August 4, 2016, a bulldozer was ran on illegal construction next to Kapil Sharma’s bungalow in Versova.
Shahrukh Khan
Shah Rukh was accused of trespassing by his neighbors in 2015. Actually, Shah Rukh’s bungalow Mannat had a ramp on which Shah Rukh used to park his vanity van for many years.
Neighbors say Shahrukh’s van blocked an important roadway leading to Mount Mary Church in Bandstand. After the complaint of the people, BMC broke this ramp on February 14, 2015 and received a fine of Rs 1.95 lakh from Shahrukh.
