It takes more than one or one and a half years to make any film and as soon as its schedule is over it is released soon. But there is also a film in Bollywood which took 13 years. After a long wait, the release date of Boney Kapoor’s film It’s My Life has arrived.
The film will be released on 29 November, not on any OTT platform or theater, but directly on the TV channel Zee Cinema. It took so long to release the film that the life of those working in it has gone a long way. While the film’s heroine Genelia D’Souza has become the mother of 2 children after her marriage, actor Harman Baweja has almost retired from acting. At the same time, Nana Patekar, who plays Harman Baweja’s father in the film, has also been away from the acting world ever since he got a name in the #MeToo campaign.
13 years ago, when stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma won the third season of ‘Great India Laughter Challenge’, he also got a chance to work in a film at the same time. Kapil would then narrate the tales of the shooting of this film to his friends in full glory, but the film never got released and now it is releasing.
Producer Boney Kapoor bought the Hindi remake rights of Siddharth, Prakash Raj and Jayasudha starrer film ‘Bommarillu‘ released in 2006 and made it into Hindi by taking the famous writer Anees Bazmee as a writer.
