As per the latest update. There are reports that Karan Johar has been summoned by NCB in a drug case. But the confirmation of the date is still not revealed by the NCB officials.
Filmmaker Karan Johar’s name surfaced in drugs earlier after the NCB started investigating the drug nexus in Bollywood. However, he refuted the rumours saying that he has nothing to do with drugs. But again the news is been making rounds about Karan. And as per the latest update, The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Thursday has summoned Karan Johar for questioning in connection with the drugs case linked to actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Although he has been summoned the date has not been confirmed yet. But the anti-drug agency wants to obtain certain details from the filmmaker. Let us tell you that Karan has been summoned but NCB has not confirmed if they have found any drug link with Karan Johar.
The NCB has sent a notice to Johar under NDPS Act 67B, according to which the person does not have to appear before the probe agency and can send his representative to share all the details of whatever the anti-drug agency is asking for. For those unaware about it let us tell you that the latest action is part of the ongoing investigations into the Bollywood-drugs nexus which the NCB is trying to dig out since the past few months.
Right after the drug angle surfaced after Sushant’s case many celebs have been summoned by NCB. However, the reports also says that although these celebs are summoned again and again but no proper evidence has been found yet against them.
