Kareena Kapoor khan has kept her opinion about the ongoing nepotism debate. The actress feels that nepotism is overrated.

The ongoing debate on nepotism has been intensified. After the B-town celebs were badly trolled by the public owing to the privileges they take in the industry. Numerous Bollywood biggies have provided their points of view on this matter. Amidst this Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan has given her response regarding the nepotism debate. In an exclusive interview, the actress spoke that its been 21 years of my career in the film industry and this has not happened only because of nepotism. She continued saying that she has a long list of star kids who were not able to make it into Bollywood. In spite of having the privilege.
Giving an example of the successful outsiders like Sharukh Khan, Ayushmann Khurrana, and other outsider celebs who nailed it in the film industry, she said that it’s because of the hard work they were able to make it. And in the same way, she had her share of hard work and struggles in the industry. If this was the case, every star kid would have been no-1. She then said, that it was the audience that made them stars and now the same audience is pointing fingers at us. “Aap jaa re ho na film dekhne? Mat jao”. Nobody has forced you.

She also said that she finds this whole discussion completely weird. Because it is the audience who make and break the stars and this is why Kangana Ranaut is considered such a great actress, in spite of being an outsider. If people like Alia there’s also Kangana. It’s not only about star kids.”
