Kareena Kapoor Khan and Ranveer Singh will be co-starring in Karan Johar’s multistarrer period drama “Takht”. Interestingly, the two gorgeous actors were set to work together for the first time in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela’ 2013 film.
Kareena Kapoor, who will soon be seen in the film Good News with Akshay Kumar, is going to start preparations for Karan Johar’s film soon. Revealing about her character in Karan Johar’s film Takht, which will also feature Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, Kareena said that she is going to play Shah Jahan’s daughter in this film.These days Kareena Kapoor Khan is engaged in the promotion of her film Good News. Kareena will begin shooting for her next film Takht after the release of Good News. Recently, in an interview, Kareena said “It is great that finally after so many years I will be sharing screen space with a phenomenal actor. It will be an honor to share the screen space with him. I am very happy,” She further added, “I have done so many movies with Dharma in the past, but after a long time Karan is directing me. It feels great. Working with Karan is always a pleasure”.On the other side Filmmaker, Karan Johar took to social media recently to make the revelation about upcoming Bollywood He wrote, “An incredible story embedded in history…An epic battle for the majestic Mughal throne… A story of a family, of ambition, of greed, of betrayal, of love & of succession…TAKHT is about WAR for LOVE….@dharmamovies @apoorvamehta18”
She told that Jahanara had a prominent place in the Mughal empire because Shah Jahan used to take all his decisions with her consent. Kareena said, At that time Shah Jahan had taken all the decisions by asking Jahanara, as she was Shah Jahan’s most loved daughter, I am very excited to play this part. According to the reports, it is being told that Anil Kapoor is going to play Shah Jahan’s role in the film. Kareena also revealed that the shooting of the film is going to start in April 2020.
