After Karishma Kapoor‘s jump into web series from Mentalhood, her daughter Samaira Kapoor is all set to turn actor. Samaira is working in a short film Daud. This is directed by Ananya Panday’s sister Rysa Panday. This seven-and-a-half minute short film is also starring Shanaya Kapoor’s brother Jahaan Kapoor.
Samaira is playing the supporting role of a friend in the film and. Focused on a girl from the slums of Mumbai. The girl sells pencils to support her mother but dreams about becoming a sprinter. Then her friends help her during her journey.
