Actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal received threats to their lives from an unidentified individual via social media. The Mumbai Police has likewise informed that a case has been filed against the person.

As of late, superstar Salman Khan and his dad Salim Khan likewise got threats in the form of a letter. It mentioned that the father-son duo would meet the same fate as Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala who was killed in May. Salman and his family’s security was upgraded after the incident. According to the investigators, the Bishnoi pack wanted to extort money from Bollywood personalities. Salman on Friday met newly-appointed Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar at the latter’s office in south Mumbai. As per police sources, the actor has applied for a weapon license.
Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker also got a death threat through a letter, following which Mumbai Police filed a non-cognizable offence against an unknown person and started an investigation into the matter.
