Kfir Bibas, the youngest captive held by Hamas, is only nine months old and has just begun to crawl after rocking on all fours. Prior to October 7, when Hamas embarked on a deadly spree in Israel, he resided on a kibbutz in southern Israel with his parents and 4-year-old brother. His parents’ names are Shiri and Yarden. Of the approximately 240 hostages that Hamas is holding, including 32 youngsters, Kfir Bibas is the youngest.
As his grandfather holds onto optimism that the family will be released soon, Kfir Bibas, who is now 10 months old, has not received any updates on their location after a month.

“This is my whole life now,” Eli Bibas mentioned in conversation with Tazpit Press Service stating about his son, daughter-in-law and two grandsons captured by Hamas. “We have got to get them home.”
Eli Bibas was scheduled to visit the family at Kibbutz Nir Oz on October 7, but as he was leaving, the air raid sirens went off, alerting everyone to the approaching missiles coming from Gaza. About twenty minutes away, Eli Bibas texted the family to make sure everything was alright.
“Like the rest of the Gaza border communities, he was in the sealed room,” Eli Bibas added.
Afterwards, his son texted him, saying, “I love you,” the identical text he had sent to his mother and sister.

A video of Shiri cradling both boys in her arms went viral hours later. Another image of a bloodied Yarden Bibas with a terrorist holding his throat with one hand and a hammer with the other surfaced three days later.
Shiri’s parents perished in their kibbutz houses from burn injuries.
Over 1,200 Israelis lost their lives, and Hamas captured over 240 hostages from Israel and transported them into Gaza.
