Actress Kangana Ranaut met defense minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday with her team Tejas. And later took to her Twitter account to post pictures of the same.
Actress Kangana Ranaut made headlines this time after she was snapped with the defense minister Rajnath to seek blessings for her upcoming film Tejas. Not just her but along with Kangana, her team members from The film Tejas were also present there. Taking to her Twitter handle, Kangana shared some pictures from her meeting where she is seen presenting a bouquet of flowers to the minister and discussing the script of her film. She shared pictures of the meeting on Twitter and said she came to seek blessings from him for the film, in which she plays an Indian Air Force pilot. Captioning her post she wrote “Today team #Tejas met honorable defense minister Shri @rajnathsingh ji for his blessings, we shared the script of our film Tejas with @IAF_MCC as well and took few permissions, Jai Hind,”

Let us tell you that the film Tejas is directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. Earlier, in a press conference, the Manikarnika actress made a statement, and said, “I’ve always wanted to play a soldier and have been fascinated with the Armed Forces since childhood. I’ve never held back my emotions for our jawans and spoken openly about how strongly I feel about their heroism. They keep our country secure and our people safe. So, I’m very happy to be doing this film.” For those who don’t know about the film let us inform you that Tejas’ is basically the story of a daring and fierce fighter pilot, and the role is being played by Kangana. The Indian Air Force was the first of the country’s defense forces to induct women into combat roles in 2016. The film takes inspiration from this landmark event.
Meanwhile, talking about her other film Thalaivi. The actress has just wrapped up the shoot of her upcoming film, in which she plays former Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa. The film, directed by AL Vijay, will showcase the journey of the late actor-turned-politician from ‘a superstar heroine’ to a politician.
