Kriti Sanon On Her Attempt to debut as a producer, director or writer
My career was set very organically. In college, I never thought about what path I should take to work in the entertainment industry. I never thought about production, writing or direction. When I started modeling after college, I got acting stints and now here I am. I might come to production or direction in the future, but at the moment I am happy with what I am doing.
How and when did the idea of the Fankind Initiative come about?
When Anshula came to me with the idea of Fankind, I thought about what could be a better way to spend time with my fans. Otherwise, we can only meet our fans for a few moments. Get photographed a few times. Here we are doing such a fun activity, through which we can spend the whole afternoon with them. Especially, you will get a chance to know more deeply about your fans personally.
Was your decision to go jet skiing with a fan?
I like the ocean very much. I have many memories associated with the oceans. That is why I have thought that I will be doing jet skiing in the sea with one of my fans and I would like to pay whatever money is collected from this activity with the fans to the Kailash Satyarthi Children Education Fund.
Personally, what do you think, how much responsibility do celebs have for doing social work?
I believe that the responsibility for social work on celebs is more because their voice reaches more and more people. We can infuse many people together. Whenever we talk to the media, our thoughts can reach our fans through our interviews. I have chosen education as the issue because it is the only medium through which we can bring light into the lives of people. Education is the basic right of every child.
