The impending nuptials of actress Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha are the subject of several rumours. According to a recent article by Hindustan Times, a week-long celebration will precede the wedding day on September 24 in Udaipur. The invitation to their Chandigarh wedding celebration has now also been leaked.
According to the invitation making the rounds online, the couple will throw a reception on September 30 in Chandigarh following their week-long celebration in Udaipur. It only seems logical that they would host their wedding celebration in Punjab’s capital city as they are both residents of that state.
The invite reads, “Alka and Sunil Chadha, parents of Raghav Chadha invite you for the Reception lunch of their son ‘Raghav and Parineeti, daughter of Reena & Pawan Chopra on 30th September 2023 at Taj Chandigarh.”
According to an exclusive story by Hindustan Times, the couple’s wedding celebrations would take place in Udaipur, Rajasthan, from September 17 to 24. These will take held in Udaipur’s The Leela Palace. “Only close family members and friends will be staying there. For the other guests, all luxury properties in and around the wedding venue have been booked. It’s going to be a grand Punjabi wedding,” the report further wrote.
“As a lot of politicians will be attending the wedding, the hotels have been told to beef up security arrangements. A recce is underway by the police to ascertain a security plan,” the source added.
Arvind Kejriwal, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party, and Bhagvant Mann, the chief minister of Punjab, are expected to attend. Actress Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti’s cousin, and her husband Nick Jonas are among anticipated guests.
Next, on October 6, Parineeti will star alongside Akshay Kumar in the motion picture Mission Raniganj. On Wednesday, the star shared the movie poster on her Instagram account.
Additionally, Parineeti will appear in Imtiaz Ali’s musical Chamkila alongside Diljit Dosanjh.
