South and Bollywood’s veteran singer SP Balasubramanian has passed away on Friday. Balasubramanian was admitted to the hospital for the last 2 months.
Director Venkat Prabhu has confirmed the death of Singer on social media. On August 5, SP Balasubramanian was admitted to MGM Healthcare Hospital in Chennai after being found positive in the corona test. In the meantime his condition had improved and Singer’s son had given information about this.
SP Balasubramanian’s health deteriorated significantly in the last 48 hours. Singer was on ventilator since then and was constantly under the supervision of doctors. Singer was at the last moment on ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) and other life support systems.
According to the information received from the hospital, SP Balasubramanian’s condition had become very critical in the last 24 hours. He was completely shifted to the life support system.
Let me tell you, Balasubramanyam has also been a music director, actor, film producer and dubbing artist along with playback singer. He worked in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
His name is also included in the Guinness Book of World Records for singing so many songs. He won 6 National Film Awards for Best Male Playback Singer for his work in four different languages (Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Hindi).
