List Of Bollywood Star Who Have Won Their Battle Against Cancer

Cancer is spreading in Bollywood High Profile lifestyle just like fire but the best thing that was in common was to stand as a true fighter against this disease. So down below we have mentioned the list of Indian celebrities who were diagnosed with cancer though but still managed to survive.

Manisha Koirala

Actress Manisha Koirala got ovarian cancer in 2012. She was treated in New York for several months. Later she had several chemo sessions in York outside India. In 2017, she made her entry to Bollywood again after recovering from the film ‘Dear Mama’.

Mumtaz

Famous 70s actress Mumtaz has also gone through breast cancer. She got this cancer in 2000 at the age of 54. But after several chemo sessions, she won the battle.

Rishi Kapoor

Actor Rishi Kapoor has been undergoing medical treatment in New York since September last year. After the actor’s illness filmmaker Rahul Rawal had revealed that Rishi Kapoor was suffering from cancer, but now he is cancer-free. After fighting a serious illness, Rishi Kapoor has confessed for the first time that he had cancer. In an interview, Rishi Kapoor shared his battle experience with cancer.

Irfan Khan

Irfan revealed in March 2018 that he was battling with cancer called ‘neuroendocrine tumor’ which was treated in the US. However, he made a comeback to the industry by winning the battle against cancer recently with the film ‘English Medium’.

Sonali Bendre

Apart from them, Sonali Bendre is one of the few celebrities who were diagnosed with the dreaded disease, alongside Irrfan Khan, Manisha Koirala, Rishi Kapoor, and Mumtaz. Sonali was diagnosed with metastatic cancer in July 2018. She reached at Stage IV of Metastatic Cancer with a 30 percent survival chance. Later the actress went under treatment in Newyork. But through the blessings of her family and friends, also as a true fighter, she was able to win the battle against cancer.
