Two days prior to the World Cup, he posted a picture on his social media in the team’s jersey attached with a note which read : We are ready. It’s been some journey for him, and his nation, to finish runners-up in the last world cup and now, at the third place.
On Saturday, the Luka Modric led team of Croatia stood third place featuring the midfielder last stint at the World Cup. The team beat Morocco by 2-1.Â
