In the battle against the coronavirus, every state government is trying to curb and handle this through additional funds. Meanwhile, the Madhya Pradesh government has transferred the funds allotted for the IIFA event in the state to the CM Fund. Now this fund will be used for the prevention of coronavirus patients. Earlier, the government headed by former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath for IIFA. But now the state government led by Shivraj Singh Chauhan has decided to transfer it again to CM Fund.
IIFA was planned as a big event in the state. The government planned to spend a huge amount on the event. However, the amount will be transferred to the C.M relief fund for COVID-19 assistance, since it is the need of the hour. The funds will be used for the assistance of coronavirus patients.
According to reports, there were plans to telecast the event in 90 countries with an expenditure of 700 cores Rs. But now, since the problem from this pandemic arose, Shivaji Sigh Chouhan has cancelled the event, saying. These funds could be utilized for the poor farmers who are in a difficult situation. Along with this, he said the money could be used for waiving off debts of farmers.
Even before becoming the Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chauhan has opposed this mega Event held in Madhya Pradesh. He said in February, ‘Madhya Pradesh has wreaked havoc. There is no money for public welfare and development, but the government is engaged in doing IIFA. No one had imagined such a devastating government. The government is only working to stop the schemes.
