Mahesh Bhatt is good to go take the role of a grandfather. Overwhelmed with the news of Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s pregnancy, the director says the kid will come with “extraordinary” genes of talented parents.
In a recent interaction with hindustantimes.com, Mahesh said, “This is the most challenging role, which life is asking me to play, which is the role of a grandfather…It is a magical moment for the whole family. First of all, Alia has been a magical child since the beginning. She has amazed me with her extraordinary talent, which has displayed to herself and the world, and then the marriage with Ranbir, was a great, high moment, and I love the boy. He is an amazing kid.”
Speaking about Alia and Ranbir entering the new stage of their film, the filmmaker says, “There’s another universe which is going to descend in our backyard and in our life. It is quite astounding news. I am happy for Alia and Ranbir, and the entire clan. I am certain that the child which is going to be born will have the genetics of these two extraordinary children — Ranbir and Alia”.
After dating for many years, Alia and Ranbir got hitched in April 2022 at Ranbir’s Mumbai home Vastu, in the presence of their close friends and family members.
