Kangana Ranaut is a fierce lady. She has been in the limelight since the day she spoke against Hrithik Roshan. Where social media users applauded her for her outspoken and bold behaviour, it seems Bollywood decided to boycott her. Kangana Ranaut’s recently released Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi really did well at the box office.
However, the film has been mired in several controversies before and after its release. In her recent media interaction, the actress slammed Bollywood celebs for not coming out in support of the film. According to her, the industry is ganging up against her as she spoke about nepotism openly. Raged at Bollywood, she stated,
“Is Rani of Jhansi my aunt? She’s as much mine as she’s yours. Then why are these people scared? They are worried just because I spoke on nepotism? They have formed a gang: ‘Why did she speak on nepotism?”
She went on to say,
“They have all gathered together, like a classroom where 59 have ganged up against one, trying to bully one. How will you feel if someone did that? Aren’t they ashamed? What Bollywood is doing, the planning and plotting, one thing is for sure, earlier I used to call them out for sexism, nepotism or pay disparity, but now I’ll be after them. ‘Inki vaat laga dugi’. I’ll expose each and every one. They have asked for trouble by ganging up against me.”
Here’s a video, take a glimpse of her angry reaction:
