Tokyo, Japan is hosting the esteemed annual MAMA Awards this year. The Tokyo Dome Stadium in Bunkyo hosted the two-day event on Tuesday, November 28. BTS was the clear winner of the evening as the first day drew to an end. The well-known K-pop group won Icon of the Year and Worldwide Fans’ Choice, two very important award titles. The following recipients of the fans’ choice title are TWICE, Zerobaseone, and SEVENTEEN.

A fan uploaded a clip of Jungkook’s acceptance speech with the caption, “Jungkook’s acceptance speech video for bts’ worldwide icon of the year daesang award at the 2023 mama awards !”
Another added, ““An unprecedented global top artist who is writing a new history every moment!” CONGRATULATIONS BTS.” Someone wrote, “Jungkook’s acceptance speech video for BTS winning the Worldwide Icon Of The Year (daesang) at the 2023 MAMA Awards.
