Out of three group of men who shot the dogs of Lady Gaga and left them wounded, one among them have been sentenced to 21 years of imprisonment in the state jail stated the officials from the Los Angeles County District Attorney. This mishap happened when the singer’s dogs were stolen.
The sole motive for the theft of the French bulldogs was the high value the man would get in return. James Howard Jackson, 20, pleaded not guilty for murder and “admitted the allegation of inflicting great bodily injury and to a prior strike”. “The plea agreement holds Mr. Jackson accountable for perpetrating a coldhearted violent act and provides justice for our victim,” the office averred in a statement.
Lady Gaga’s dog walker, Ryan Fischer, was moving past the Sunset Boulevard on February 24, 2021 when he recalled being shot. Ryan recalled the instance and posted about it on his social media and called it “close call with death”. “It’s hard to believe that it’s nearing two years since I was taking Asia, Koji and Gustav out for an evening stroll when — in an instant — I suddenly found myself fighting with everything I had to protect those dogs from being stolen. But it wasn’t enough: I was beaten, strangled, shot and left to die bleeding out on a sidewalk and gasping for my life. And Koji and Gustav were gone.” the post read.
