Filmmaker Mani Ratnam‘s magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan 1 minted massive numbers at the box office collections and now is bracing up for the second part. The film is not scheduled for a sequel leaving fans in excitement and great expectations. The makers will start with the promotions after the new song from the sequel titled Aga Naga on March 20.
The song will be launched in five languages. The song named Ruaa Ruaa in Hindi, Akamalar in Malayalam, Aganadhe in Telugu and Kirunage in Kannada is backed by vocals of Shaktishree Gopalan in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam, Rakshita Suresh in Kannada and Shilpa Rao in Hindi.
The Tips Music Instagram handle wrote, “Get ready to experience the magic of #AgaNaga / #RuaaRuaa / #Aganadhe / #Akamalar / #Kirunage in all its glory! 20th March. 6 PM. Stay tuned!”
The poster of the song features actor Trisha’s character Kundavai standing upright with a sword in her hand looking down at actor Karthi’s character Vallavaraiyan Vanthiyathevan, who is seen in a kneel down position before the former, while the latter is blindfolded.
Ponniyin Selvan 2 will include an ensemble of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vikram, Jayam Ravi, and Sobhita Dhulipala, and is scheduled for release on April 28, 2023.
