Haryanvi beauty Manushi Chhillar left everyone impressed when she was crowned Miss World in 2017. Today former Miss World is celebrating her 23rd birthday amid the COVID-19 lockdown in the country. And on this special occasion, we are sharing her story that how she made her journey to Bollywood from her small town Sonipat.
About Manushi Chhillar
Manushi was born on 14 May 1997 in Rohtak Haryana. Before entering into the show business she was a medical student. She topped in English in class 12th and scored 96% in her board exams. Not only this, she even cleared the All India Pre Medical Test in her first attempt and pursued a medical degree (MBBS) at the Bhagat Phool Singh Medical College in Sonipat.
Manushi’s journey began when she won the title of FBB Femina Miss India Haryana in 2016. She later won the Miss India title as well. In 2017 she represented India at Miss World contest and finally won it. When she returned back to India after winning the pageant she was greeted by the large crowd and later became a brand Ambassador of Anaemia Free Haryana.
Later on, Manushi started getting offers from the entertainment industry. She also appeared in ads. And now she will soon be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in the film “Prithviraj”.
What made her won Miss World 2017
Manushi is a diva which can be called beauty with the brain. In the Miss World contest, she was asked about a profession that should receive the highest salary in the world. Giving a reply to the answer she said: “A mother’s profession should receive the highest salary and respect in the world.”And she deserves the most.
Manushi’s Thought While Celebrating Her Birthday Amid Lockdown
Well, the former Miss World said that it’s a very quiet birthday for me as celebrations are the last thing on my mind right now since this year I have witnessed grief, pain, and suffering.
