The world was shocked to learn over the weekend of Matthew Perry’s passing. Since the news surfaced, his co-stars on the popular television programme Friends are said to be devastated. Perry’s body was discovered in his Los Angeles home’s hot pool.
A source cited by Daily Mail claims that Lisa Kudrow, Perry’s close friend and co-star on Friends, is “baffled” by his passing and is thinking about taking in his cherished dog Alfred.

“Lisa and (the) cast will all be attending his services,” the media outlet mentioned. “This does not seem real or fair to her or any of the gang, because Matthew was finally at peace with himself and was having the best year of his life since his book launch almost exactly one year ago. He was enjoying life,” it further added.
While Perry has been receiving condolences from all corners, his five Friends co-stars have not yet responded. The stars are “devasted” at losing their “brother,” per a PageSix article. “The cast is reeling from the loss of their brother because that’s what Matty was – their brother. It’s just devastating,” a source to the media channel added.
Show creators released a joint statement

The showrunners of Friends, Marta Kauffman, David Crane, and Kevin Bright, released a statement together on Monday that said, “We will always cherish the joy, the light, the blinding intelligence he brought to every moment – not just to his work, but in life as well. We send all of our love to his family and friends. This truly is The One Where Our Hearts Are Broken.”
Aside from the comedy show’s core ensemble, Maggie Wheeler, who played Janice opposite Perry’s Chandler Bing, revealed her feelings following his untimely passing. Wheeler posted a picture of Janice and Chandler on Instagram and said, “What a loss. The world will miss you, Matthew Perry. The joy you brought to so many in your too-short lifetime will live on. I feel so very blessed by every creative moment we shared.”
