On October 28, actor Matthew Perry, best known for portraying the beloved character Chandler Bing in the popular sitcom Friends from the 1990s, passed suddenly. Not too long after Perry passed away, leaving many of his admirers devastated, an unexpected piece of information about him surfaced online.
Perry, according to the Daily Mail, has a history of violently abusing women. He even threw a coffee table at Molly Hurwitz, his former fiancée.
According to a person close to the actor, Perry hit Molly after she confronted him about cheating on her in 2021. Perry claimed to be sober in his final years.
In addition to his fiancée Molly, Perry has also violently abused Morgan Moses, his roommate.
Moses resigned from her position as his sober companion following the attack, and a full year before the memoir was released, she severed all communication with him.
In his novel Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing, Perry referred to Morgan as Erin without disclosing her identity. He also thanked her for saving his life following a colon rupture. Numerous sources have disclosed in recent months that Perry was never clean and that all of the statements he made and wrote in his book were fabrications.
”Morgan was no longer working with Matthew. He had a horrible breakdown and in the heat of the moment, he could not control his emotions. He had a fear that he was going to be abandoned,’ a source added further adding, ”He shoved Morgan into a wall and threw her onto a bed. She left.”
”The man those close to him knew and the man that the world saw were two very different people,” the source added.
On October 28, 2023, Perry drowned in a jacuzzi at his Los Angeles home and passed suddenly. He passed away from the acute effects of ketamine, a medication used to treat anxiety and depression.
