The much-loved Double Big Mac is returning to McDonald’s after four years of discontinuation in the US. The popular delivery service calls the treat “double the fun”—a Big Mac burger made with four 100% pure beef patties and extra sauce. This information was released following McDonald’s announcement that it will be altering their Big Mac, double cheeseburger, classic hamburger, and double cheeseburger sandwiches.
The time-bound Beginning on January 24, the McDonald’s treat will be served at all US restaurants. For meat lovers, this dish is ideal because it has an abundance of meat and sauce.
Inside the trademark sesame seed bun of the fast food restaurant, additional ingredients are pickles, lettuce, onions, and American cheese. Softer buns and superior grill-sears with melted cheese are two more significant variations in Double Big Macs.
McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski stated to CNN that the fast food chain is “working on” offering larger burgers to consumers prior to the Double Big Mac comeback announcement.
Even though the exclusive and extensive menu is more expensive, Chris told the outlet that the business will make every effort to offer the same products at a lower cost.
“We think we’re going to be able to deliver a great tasting large burger at a superior value to what [customers] can get anywhere else,” Chris said.
