Avitha Vijay is this year’s youngest attendee at Apple’s WWDC event, the company’s annual developer conference. And by youngest, we mean 9 years old! She already has a number of iOS apps in her pocket with ambitions of making many, many more.
the Indian-origin Australian young lady longed for going to the WWDC occasion and meeting Tim Cook – which worked out when her grant got acknowledged and Apple welcomed her to California. As indicated by Fortune, out of 350 beneficiaries of the grant, 22 percent were ladies and 120 were less than 18 years old. Avitha was the main participant less than 10 years old.
“Coding was so challenging. But I’m so glad I stuck with it,” said Avitha. Armed with learning, Avitha made applications for both Apple iPhone and iPad. Her Smartkins Animals is an application for youngsters where they can learn creature names and sounds.
The little champ adding to her words said that, “Turning an idea for an app involves a lot of hard work. There are so many components to building an app, including prototyping, design and wireframing, user interface design and then coding and testing.
