In her latest docu-series titled Harry & Meghan, former actor Meghan Markle has mentioned how her dating Prince Harry have affected her life. Since she started dating him from 2016 her character assassination was a common affair. She is recalled of an incident from 2017 when the paparazzi hounded her.
Meghan recalled, “I would say to the police that if any other woman in Toronto said to you right now, ‘I have six grown men sleeping in their cars around my house and following me everywhere that I go and I feel scared,’ wouldn’t you say that it was stalking. And they would claim ‘but there is nothing we can do because look who you are dating’.” Meghan added that at the end finally the police was there for the rescue. “Then I got a death threat and things changed because I needed to have security,” she further added.
Steve Davies, her security at that time, told, “I have worked with A-list celebrities before and high net-worth families before. This blew me right out the water.”
“When all of that started happening, my friends and people in my life who love me and care about me are like, ‘Is he worth this?’,” added Meghan. However the couple stuck together to date.
The duo married in 2018 and is blesses with a son named Archie in 2020. Meghan is currently seen in the docu series, of which the first three episodes has already been aired Netflix on Thursday.
