The farmer’s protest has become a major issue worldwide especially after the center made the decision to ban Internet services in New Delhi. In response to this many Bollywood and Hollywood, personalities stood in support of the farmers. And the recent one to join the list is the former porn star, Mia.
It feels like the farmer’s protest is now grabbing attention worldwide. The protest that has been going on for the last few months has become a major issue now. In connection to this many celebrities like Diljit Dosanjh, Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor came out in support of the protesting farmers. But that is not just enough. To everyone’s surprise, recently International singer Rihana also tweeted about the farmers. And along with her, there were several other personalities from Hollywood. After Mia Khalifa tweeted on farmers protest, from that time onwards she started trending on Twitter. Taking to her Twitter account the former porn star wrote.”Paid actors,” huh? Quite the casting director, I hope they’re not overlooked during awards season. I stand with the farmers. #FarmersProtest.” In yet another tweet she posted the picture of the protesting farmer and captioned it, “What in the human rights violations is going on?! They cut the internet around New Delhi?! #FarmersProtest.”

Many of you might be aware of this ongoing issue of farmers, but those who are yet unaware, let us inform you that on republic day farmers’ Tractor Parade created violence and attacked Delhi Police personnel. After the farmers got violent, the center decided to cut out internet services. And from there on it became a major issue. So now not just Indian celebs, but also the international stars commenting on this. Recently Khalifa questioned the Centre’s decision to block internet services. While Rihana said why “we weren’t talking about this”.
