Microsoft has announced that a new capability is now available for its Teams video conferencing system. During meetings, users can use the function, known as animated backgrounds, to change their current background with dynamic animations, providing a more interesting and realistic virtual environment.
Microsoft claimed in a recent blog post that the animated backgrounds feature provides a variety of options to improve meeting experiences. However, at the moment, only Microsoft’s pre-defined backgrounds are supported. Users must use the Windows or macOS Teams client and be a part of the Teams Public Preview to utilise this functionality.
